Tumblr is a networking, social media and microblogging site that's free to use with a small learning curve.
Since Tumblr deals in microblogging rather than traditional blogging, it's very quick and easy to write and schedule mini blog posts throughout the day or week, and the social aspect makes it easy to find blogs about things you're interested in and to connect with others.
