Okay, sure, I did have a few breaks over the 8 years I played it. Like all new everything on top. Classes, maps, weapons, bosses, etc. I played game for hours so far so you can understand why it got a little samey after a while. Brian Boru said:. Every year there's new mods still coming out for a game from , and some of them are truly amazing. Reactions: Gun83 , Jess no limitd , Candyprotocol and 4 others.
Sarafan Community Contributor. Jan 14, 1, 2, Actually I rarely mod games in a meaningful way. Usually I limit myself to things like Restoration Project for Fallout 2, but there were a few exceptions.
Fallout: New Vegas is among them. I used some patches to minimize crashes and stuttering, but the biggest change was the HD texture pack. And while I was satisfied with the visual aspect, the mod made the game basically unplayable due to frequent crashes. Even the unofficial patches which supposed to help with this issue didn't make a visible change. Zloth Community Contributor. Jan 13, 2, 5, 17, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. Kudos to your JRPG knowledge if you recognize the gal on the left.
Popular mod-hosting site Nexus Mods announced recently that users who upload files will no longer be allowed to delete them. It's planning to add a collections feature that will let people assemble lists of compatible mods to download with a single click, and if a mod that others rely on was deleted that would break any collection featuring it.
The ENB mod works amazingly with warm shades and makes everything stand out. Great for building a moodier, more atmospheric Skyrim. Download Noir ENB. The mod dramatically improves cities and towns, making them look and feel more alive.
It helps to give the game world an entirely different feel, making some of the towns and cities feel almost like a completely different game. Most of the time, the fire in Skyrim looks weak and underwhelming, especially when it comes from a fireball flying out of your hand.
This mod fixes that issue and vastly improves the look of all fires and fire spells. The world of Skyrim is meant to be a wet, cold, and harsh place in the far Northern region of Tamriel. This mod intends to alleviate that problem, by making the world of Skyrim feel wetter, colder, and generally more unpleasant. Characters will dress more appropriately for these harsh conditions and will react more to the cold. Download Wet and Cold. This one adds more details to the characters so you can make your character look much better than vanilla Skyrim allows.
Using this, you can tweak small details like eyes, hair, brows, beards, etc. Make your character look more like you intended with this great character customization mod. Download Race Menu. A great mod that makes the skin and characters of Skyrim look much better and far more detailed. It helps to make the people of Skyrim look prettier and less… well, ugly.
It's already been confirmed that Starfield will have multiple factions, and that one of them will be the space-faring faction Constellation seen in the trailer, which has its own uniform. The freedom to go undercover, and the potential to fail, could make Starfield 's galaxy feel all the more thrilling.
Naturally fans can expect Starfield to contain plenty of voiced characters for them to meet, but it's the mod's super follower system that really broke the mold. Super followers have a huge amount of additional dialogue, their own backstories, and more that most Skyrim followers lack. If Bethesda wants to combine the breadth of available followers in Skyrim with the depth of followers found in Fallout 4 and other RPGs, a super follower system could do the game wonders.
In a game that gives players as much freedom as Skyrim , it's no surprise that modders quickly took that to the next level. Alternate Start - Live Another Life is an extremely popular and deceptively simple mod. All it does is allow the player to start the game somewhere else in the world.
They can wash up on Skyrim's icy shores as the sole survivor of a shipwreck, or awaken as an impoverished Dunmer refugee in Solstheim. It also adds new Elven armors into the game that look sharp, detailed, and ready for battle. Together, this mod offers a bit of an armor overhaul for two of Skyrim's most popular races. This is good news for gamers who like to play as either Orc or Elf or those who simply enjoy wearing diverse armor sets.
They boast an authentic and lore-friendly look that breathes a lot of life into the Orc aesthetic while adding a bit more glamor and glitz for the Elven races.
Originally known as Clothing and Clutter Fixes back in the Oldrim days, this mod has since been ported to Special Edition, as well. Both mods offer the same basic idea - a switch-up of the game's armors and clothing, as worn by the various NPC characters in the game.
While this doesn't affect the player, it does bring a fresh dose of variety to Skyrim, as the NPCs will no longer wear the same type of armor or clothing. It takes into account each character's rank and position in the game and assigns them a particular armor or clothing set, which goes a long way to creating a more interesting Skyrim. This mod adds five new Bosmer armor sets into the game, with a combined total of 29 individual pieces, and 6 new weapons thrown in just for the sake.
While not the largest armor add-on mod, it is a welcome addition that looks cool, fits the aesthetic of Skyrim quite well, and allows gamers to stand out from the crowd.
